Home Repair 101
Have you ever wished you knew how to make small home repairs yourself? Learn to take care of your home without having to call a repairman for minor repairs. This course is designed for the homeowner and will cover lock installation, painting and caulking tips, drywall repair, and minor electrical and plumbing repairs. You will also learn how to make basic repairs to the exterior of your home, as well as how to prepare your home for the arrival of winter. Instruction on basic hand and power tools will be provided. There will also be time for students to ask questions about specific problems. Textbook will be provided.

Home Repair 201
Do you have basic knowledge of hand tools and know how to make minor repairs in your home? If so, this class will help develop your skills and knowledge further, allowing you to tackle larger and more involved repairs and improvements for both the interior and exterior of your home. In addition to saving money by making your own repairs, this class will cover ideas and techniques that will help enhance your home such as the installation of hardwood or manufactured floors, adding a ceramic tile backsplash in your kitchen or enhancing a room by adding additional trim or wainscoting. We will also look at the advantages of using maintenance free exterior products when making repairs to the outside of your home. There will be time for students to ask questions about specific repairs or improvements. Textbook will be provided.
