Youth Programs

Adult-Youth Beginner Golf
Would you like to spend more time with your Junior golfer? Tired of your son or daughter beating you on the course? Why not work it out together by signing up for a game improving golf clinic! The bonus is, while you get better at golf, you spend quality time together. This class is for the beginner golfer as well as a refresher for existing players. All levels are welcome. One student must be 18 and older, and the Junior must be 17 or younger. In four weeks we will cover the short game of chipping, pitching, putting and the full swing with woods and irons. We will also go over the equipment needed to play and enough golf etiquette and rules to make it fun to play together. All classes are taught by qualified and enthusiastic LPGA and PGA Golf Professionals. Sign up early - space is limited! You must sign up separately and the fees are per person. If you need to miss a class you can make it up in another session.

Babysitter Training Basics
Designed for 11 - 15 year olds, the American Red Cross Babysitter's Training course can help students learn how to interview for a babysitting job, choose safe and age-appropriate toys and games, understand diapering and feeding techniques, handle bedtime issues, and much more! Learn tips for having a safe babysitting experience. Course fee includes the ARC Babysitter's Training Handbook, supplies and materials, as well as additional course handouts. This course also satisfies requirements for the Girl Scout badge. Students must be 11 years old by the completion date of the class. Student should bring a bag lunch.

Holiday Art and Drawing Class for Kids
Hey kids, love to draw? Would you like to create a special holiday gift? Join us at the School of Continuing Studies, along with Young Rembrandts as we enjoy a morning filled with drawing fun! Kids will create a original, one-of-a-kind work of art, that will be mounted, matted and ready to frame!
